HERA Info Days

In June it was good to wear my health specialism hat again to moderate the Dublin edition of HERA info Days. HERA (Health Emergency Preparedness and Response) was established after the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure a joined up EU response to cross border health threats. The smallest directorate at the European Commission, HERA handles heath emergencies, international cooperation and funding opportunities together with HaDEA the Health and Digital Executive Agency. 

Stakeholders from industry, public authorities, research centres, NGOs, and academia came together to explore HERA’s impact, success stories, and funding opportunities.
